I made fun of people wasting gas to get over there. Hell I could have made almost 600 profit if I would have went lol.

The guy with all of the calls has 3 post on ebay, with all different starting bids. Something seems fishy about that.

Hahaha I agree bub. He starts at 650, 700, and then 800. Market seems to be from 350-500 depending on the color of the band. I just wonder if they (RNT) will go into production then the market will flop. It probably will not happen like that. It will be like the metal banded mondo. The color of the band will dictate how much your call is worth.

All I know is I wish I could figure out how to make over 40,000 in a hour and a half selling a duck call.

How much were these calls the day of in the store? I don't get where people get these asking prices for brand new calls. Seems like a brand new CNCed / mass produced call shouldn't be worth more than a custom call from a deceased maker. I guess that's why I really only buy custom calls, and wood only with few exceptions.

RNT seems to have this cult of worshipers where they can do no wrong and I don't get it. I am not a "fanboy" of much any product or producer on the market. Well, maybe Filson. But Filson doesn't make full back glass stickers, so I think I am OK there. Anyway, I'm not here to bash RNT, as I like them, they make a good product, and they have this marketing thing down to a science.

A good friend bought me a call at the event last Friday. The mail lady dropped it off today. I ended up with a blue band (no purple..thank you!). Below, I'll post a quick review. Bail now if you don't care.

This call starts easier than the Mondo. It is easy to keep it at the volume of an XLT or Daisy Cutter. Then you can put the air to it and get the full volume of a cutdown. One thing that stands out is how smooth it moves from note to note. Smooth. This call is a lot raspier than the first Mondo. It cleans up a little on the very top. It reminds me of some very old Olts I've heard. This one came with a tapered reed; I'm sure that adds to the raspiness. Some of them were tuned with a standard D2 reed.

Would I buy it if I had it to do again? Yes.
