How to fly with a retriever

Kind of a crazy question I see from reading the airline websites it is possible to do this. Im trying to get my 60lb lab to Idaho.

Looking for some real world advice good and bad on this and what I can expect? Will my typical kennel work?

Ask ole DoubleR2. He had his lab on the ticket counter a week or so ago I believe.
