Man... I don't know how much more of this I can stand. In 2009 I lost my main most hunting buddy "Bud" at the ripe age of 13.8 yrs. Then 2 wks later my dad passed. Then in 2011 I lost my other hunting buddy "Hurley" at 13.6 yrs to liver cancer. Then in 2012 I lost "Kisses" at 11 yrs due to cancer. Now this past Sept I lost my man Deuce after long fight with Lyphoma at 8.6 yrs old. Now my old girl "Fudge" is 16.4 yrs and has basically given up on life... Damn.......
I know she's had a go that most dogs never will. She's had a great life and I have no complaints except, damn this is hard to be loosing all my kids this fast... I'm all ate up right now and just needed to vent a little with the dog world. I love my little girl so much and knowing what I'm going to have to do is killing me right now... I'm down to Deuce's sister Peanut. She's a jam up duck dog and is stuck to my hip more than ever now that all of her pack is gone... I'm scared to death of her ending up with cancer like her brother did. Thanks for listening

Well, my girl Fudge made it longer than we thought... She was one tough cookie. She passed away this past Saturday at home in her favorite spot on the floor on my side of the bed. Hell of a feeling not having her at the door to meet me when I come home from work like she had done for over 16 years... I loved her just like I've loved all of my dogs and maybe a little more. You see; "I belonged to her" in the so called pack order... I didnt own her. She was my shadow in every aspect of home life. She also kept the peace and all the unrully pups in line............
I miss you girl and will see you one day along with Deuce, Kisses, Bud, and Hurley.
