The Republic of Texas....They Go Big.

Supposedly this is to combat cartels on border lakes between TX and Mexico. 36' Yellowfin with triple Mercury 300 Verados. It also has quad M249 machine guns mounted. I guessing it will make a tuna trip or two as well. :wink:

Ol fellas over at red jacket did one of these for the baton rouge police boat. Has same gun mount but instead of 2 m249's, theirs has 1 m249 and a m19 grenade launcher sitting beside it. Yea. I could be wrong with the m19 name, that's just kinda what I remember.

So they needed to buy a $300k+ boat to patrol a couple lakes that are most frequently usd by bass boats? Thanks Texas :roll:

Was more than likely confiscated and they just upgraded it alittle.....

its new, yellowfin actually took it to a few trade shows, talks of another one being built, alot of cheaper boats could have been built to help patrol a lake, or even better more man power
