I just watched the first 15 minutes of that Press Conference. I am delighted to know from the Chancellor that unhappy Alumni are not "appropriate stakeholders" in the University. However, student government that gives not a dime other than tuition, is in fact an "appropriate stakeholder." And that if other SEC universities can be successful with "a chicken and a pig" for mascots, "a black bear won't bring us down to much." And they call wanting me to donate MORE money. Unreal. Totally Unreal.

If I were a donating ulumni.....which I'm not, I would surely show my support of that comment with a discontinuation of funds from my wallet.
Pretty arrogant statement if you ask me. Seems like fans, ulumni and students would all be appropriate stakeholders in the athletics of the school
they spend their hard earned money at. If everyone spoke with their wallets, then there would be a message that they couldn't miss.

I hear today, that Archie Manning is coming to the rescue of the Rebels. I don't know exactly
how, unless he is to serve in one of the positions of AD or Head Coach. VERY INTERESTING POSSIBILITY.
