I am not recoil sensitive by any means but I do not like shooting the 35 whelen Handi Rifle my little brother has. I don't like shooting my Encore over about 12 times in one sitting. I am very impressed with the cartridge though! Great results so far! 4 out of 5 deer i've shot with it have dropped in their tracks. Going to try and shoot a couple more does this week with it.

3 of the 4 pictured dropped in their tracks, the center deer with the large blood spot ran about 15 steps before expiring.

Mine has a muzzle break so its not bad at all with recoil. Now its loud beyond anything else ive ever heard. Only made the mistake of shooting it once without hearing protection

Ammo makes a difference. Heavier faster bullets will kick noticeably More than lighter bullets. I bet superformance will thump a shoulder

I bought the cva scout 35 and yea... It kicks like a mule. Nothin a grown man can't handle though. After reading the posts on yalls 35s I was hoping my scope wouldn't mess up after shooting it a few times. So far so good

Got my new scope on it and sighted in this weekend. It's not as bad as I remember, but I shot it 4 times with a t-shirt on and can feel a little bruise in there. At least it didn't cut my head this time!!
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
