I have killed lots of deer with rages. I have never experienced the problems mentioned and I have never seen a blood trail like the rage leaves. I guess we can help each other on this forum with things like this, but I have shot them all and I will never switch from the 2 blade rage unless a bigger 2 blade rage comes out. I had a couple of holes the size of a tennis ball last year. It truly flies like a field point.

i have a thunderhead 100 grain that i hope to put through its tenth deer this weekend!!! its been on a couple of diffferant arrows that have been broken off, but it still spins true and will shave hair, so its good to go another round

i don't know if that any kind of record, but it will be for me.

Which is a better broadhead....muzzy....that being said you really need to buy several packs to find 3 that will shoot consistent, but they are great once you do get a couple that will shoot. I will be shooting one rage this year because I have it left, then will be shooting whatever I have in my bag that I was given last year. Thunderheads used to be great, but not any more, it got to where they would not fly tru a couple years ago and I left them.

If you plan on shooting small deer the rage works ok. I experienced first hand it will not go through a 250+ lb deer if you get to close to the shoulder. to answer your question I shoot MX3 muzzys now I got 3 packs for like 64 bucks. I was lucky they flew good with zero tuning. If you want to try rage I got a pile of them I would part with.

All it takes is for a mechanical to fail one time on the right deer to change your outlook forever.

So do you fine tune your bow any with the slick tricks or do they shoot the same as a field point like a rage. The main reason I switched to them in the first place is because of this. I HATED trying to get a Muzzy tuned in.
