Good Thermos

Postby champcaller » Sat Sep 17, 2011 8:12 pm

I've been looking for a sho' nuff good thermos that'll keep coffee hot for a long time.

I was looking for an old stanley cause the new ones suck, along with everything else i've tried, but I finally found a good one.

not real cheap in thermos terms, but this thing is the real deal. i haven't had it in any real cold mornings, but this thing keeps coffee hot as when i filled it up for well over a day. it floats too.

just thought i'd pass along a good product that's made in the US.

Heat coffee in microwave to almost a boil and it will stay hot all day in most thermos bottles.

Thermos brand is the only brand I use.

When I'm leaned up against a tree with a steaming cup of coffee before shooting light, I am home.

i've got the outdoor series 1.1qt and 16oz drink through bottle. as long as i temper it w/boiling water, it will keep coffee hot all day and still warm enough to enjoy the next morning.

Stanley. Pre-heated. Then add scalding hot coffee. I like the 16 ounce Nissans best. Preheated, just right when time for that second cup.

I have a thermos brand, like already said here, make sure you preheat with hot water. This step will make a big difference on how long the coffee will stay hot!!!

thats why I like this one. You dont have to preheat, boil water, yada yada.

Just pour the coffee and go.

Coffee gives me the sh!ts... Might not be real close to anywhere where I can take care of it, so I would just rather be a lil colder!!

TP is a must have in my blind bag. It is an art form to taking a slam in the woods. Where there's a will there's a way.

When I gotta lay a cable, nothing is gonna stand in my way.
