Yeti sets the price for the stores and do not give much or any room to move the price

I got a 35 for my b-day couple weeks ago. Billcollector and I went fishing in Venice last weekend first time I used it. It's a nice box, but I wasn't as impressed as thought I'd be with its keeping ice. Don't know if my content-to-ice ratio was way off or what but ididnt have it directly in sun or anything and ice melted down like any other box I've ever had, considering it's price they should do better!

The prices are pretty much the same everywhere. I guess demand is so high that no one is undercutting their competitors. I have 4 ranging from the 25 QT "Roadie" up to a 250 QT fish box. I've had good experiences with all of mine. They are pricey, but they hold up amazingly well. They're definitely tough. If you just want a medium sized cooler for beer, then I'd just stick with an igloo, but for stuff that needs to stay cold or on ice for days on end then they're worth the investment, IMO.

to me they aren't really worth it. even for fishing unless you're going to be out on the boat for more than a day without access to more ice. granted they are really nice sturdy coolers
shoot them in the face they may be wearing body armor lol

I have one of the DU small Yeti's... it is indestructible and bad booty...

Does it keep ice longer? maybe 30 min. or 1 hour over a 24 hour period.

Would I buy one retail price? No Thanks...

You can also look at Icey-Tek's, they're back on the market soon I think. There is also Engal.

If you want to get real pricey, you could go with Frigid Rigid.

My neighbor gave me one of those old school "GoTT" coolers its one of them long ones.

that joker will keep ice for nearly a week.

ain't no way under the sun im paying that much for an ice box to ride in the back of my truck.

Save your money, I have a 45qt yeti, and other than being nearly indestructable they are not much different than an igloo.
Damn, i thought I had that one

Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

I got a 50qt it does better then your little cheap walmart cooler keeping ice but other then that it's nothing thats impressive on keeping ice. They damn sure don't hold ice as long as they say they do. Following the instructions they give you or not.........The only reason I bought mine was bc they are indestructible....And the flipping lid don't blow off going down the road other then that........ There are to many others out there doing the same thing as they are doing at a half of the price.

i appreciate yalls feedback. i am certain they are worth the money as i have seen them compared to my $75 igloo five day coolers they will hold ice much much longer. I am just wondering if anyone has a source to get a good deal. i have gone thru enough ice this summer to pay for one. i know many say they dont hold ice much longer but I have seen 3 of them in action on hot summer weekends this summer last 3 or 4 times as long as the coleman and igloo coolers that i have.
