What chemical to use as a ground clear?

Postby B.M.F.T. » Tue Jun 07, 2011 9:37 am

What is the best chemical like a RoundUp to use for kiiling heavy vegetation and small trees? I need to clear about 5 acres and where is a good place to get it around Madison?

A little pricey but arsenal (imazapyr) then spike it with some glyphosate.

anything with glyphosate that is at least 41% or higher, you can mix it with surfacent to better results too.

You can get cornerstone (roundup) for $50 to $60 per 2.5 gal and it already has a surfactant in it. Its about as cheap as you can git. I was considering using arsenal for a job last year similar to what you described and went with cornerstone instead. I was very pleased with the results.
