Summary of Jason Aldean Concert

1. Some people do not need to drink alchohol.
2. Law enforcement is there to watch the crowd, not the concert. We had to alert " Barney" to several issues, and he pretty much told me to handle it myself. WTF. If you don't want to work, don't dress the part.
3. Eric Church is a way better performer, singer, and musician than Aldean.

Had a fight break out if front of me and the wife. I never saw a punch throne, but it must have been one cause the young guy (25 yo or so) had a bloody nose. He and an older man (50ish) were taken out by the Hinds SO. The way each was handling themselves I would bet the young guy started something he couldn't finish. The young guy was subdued but was not listening to another deputy trying to talk to him. That deputy put a hand on each side of his head, around or over his ears, and made the guy look him in his eyes. I liked that part! Hinds SO handled this disruption very well. They must have came from several different angles, because more came filing out than I saw go in.

I'm sure alcohol played a role in that fiascoe.

Being a father of a young girl, I didn't like seeing how some of the young teeny boppers handled themselves. Hopefully, I want forget what I saw tonight in 10 years when my young'en asks to go to a concert with her "friends".

Eric Church did do a good job.

Don't know how it's handled at all arenas but I know some hire off duty cops who dress in their uniforms but are not really on duty for the Government office the uniform represents. I see it a lot in Tupelo at places on the strip where kids drive. Cops out in the parking lots to keep the kids off but they aren't really on duty. Just hired by that business to keep the lot cleared and the kids on the move.

I dont know where you were sitting, but where I was it was alot of people having a good time and no kind of fighting or anything. I went more for Eric Church than Jason Aldean. I had a freaking blast, and I, as well as the majority of the people that attended, will not be very productive today. I've seen Church many times, and that was BY FAR the best show I have seen him play. One of the best concerts I have ever seen in Jackson. Btw....Man I'm glad I live in Mississippi...short skirts and shorts and cowboy boots....the talent off the stage beat the talent on stage hands down.

Flat out awesome concert - Church sure put on a show, as did Aldean.

What about ol boy that jumped on stage when "my kind of party" started playing? At first, I thought he was part of the show.

I just fight dirty from the start of it and if you do it correctly it generally makes them think what the heck is he going to do next. Advice give by a Special Forces Green Beret.

my compliments to US 96.3 for the great seats & backstage passes last nite. we also had the "Buck Commander" & family sitting next to us.
