2010-2011 Waterfowl season

We had a great waterfowl season!

Tha harvest percents were:

Mallards 40%

Teal 20%

Shovler 20%

Gadwall 7.5%

Pintail 5%

Wigeon 3%

Woodduck 3%

Had 4 banded mallards: 1 band per 257 mallards.

Had 1 banded Canada!

Had 1 banded Blue goose!

I want to thank all my customers, friends and my Guides.

It was a great year for the Mississippi Delta!

Good job!!! I would give you the percentages at "The 40", but it would be at least 30% spoonies. They make good gumbo though and the dog wouldn't have cared if they were coots. :lol: :lol: We were somewhere between 325 to 375, have not done the totals yet on our little spot. Did get a banded speck and one of the kids shot a banded bluebill that flew off of one of the nearby ponds.
