Non-res License

Postby Brandon Flyway » Thu Nov 18, 2010 9:27 am

Got a firiend that may go with me one weekend this year.

What's it going to set him back for all the applicable MS licenses for duck hunting? Can anybody give me a run down?

if he's in school at a university in the state of mississippi then he can just show his student id, and can get a resident small game license for like 15 bux i think it is. if he's just an OOSER then it'll be a little more pricey

He'll need the small game, state waterfowl stamp, federal stamp, and HIP.

If you are hunting a WMA, he will need the WMA permit as well.
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.

If it's only for one weekend, get the 7 day small game. It's only about $45 I think.

HIP= The hunter survey you take for migratory birds. Even if you didn't hunt them last year you still have to take it and it's free. And yes, just go with the 7 day license if he's just hunting one weekend.
