Anyone ever use those Blood Runner broadheads? Want to try something new this year other than Muzzy. Thinking about that one or the Schwackers

Had a buddy that started last year shootin blood runners
and after an arrow literally bouncing off a deer that was quartering away
he drove to Jackson that day to return to shooting muZzy. So as duck
said don't fark with it.
I might lose a job or a woman, but i will never lose hunting.

I've shot several with muzzy's and have yet to get a good blood trail yet (never lost a deer but have had some tough blood trails), the thing about muzzy's are you can shoot through straight bone like the shoulder and still get penetration. But if you're just shooting whitetails in the south you don't need something to bust through thick hide and bone, I just want a big hole and a good blood trail. My brother shoots Montec G5's and they do ok; pretty much the same as muzzy's just much easier to tune, they fly like a field tip even if the fletches and the blades aren't lined up which was pretty unbelievable for me because it's a fixed blade. I broke down and followed the trend of the Rage and shot one deer with them. The hole was 3 inches going in and about a foot coming out, just massive damage and the deer didn't run 30 yards. Only downfall to them is that you can only shoot them one time, I know they say the blades are replaceable but I have found this from personal experience not to be true. Shoot a Rage once and they're damaged internally but still definately worth the money. Just my .02

If a broadhead doesn't fly right, its your bow out of tune. Fix your bow not the head. I like slicktricks myself . More cut dia. Than rage and 10qa size holes.
