English Turn is a fine track, if money's not an issue. It was $150 for 18. It's across the bridge on the west bank. I lived in New Orleans for 18 months and it was the best coarse in New Orleans at the time. They played the 06' Zurich Classic at English because TPC of LA was to damaged by Katrina. This was a couple of years ago, but it still has to be great.
If you want to stay close to downtown then Audubon is nice, but it's a par 62 coarse. I think it was 12-13 par 3's. All the city park coarses were shudown when i lived their so I'm no help with them.

Forget the golf crap. GO FISHING!!! Most areas are open to recreational fishing, and you would be providing much-needed support and income to the professional guides and local buisinesses.

The Lower 9th Ward is pretty much a golf course.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Two guys off the ship played TPC in Westwego last week and said it was in good shape. They saw a gator or two along the way! LOTS of water hazards as it was/is a swamp!

I would play TPC Louisiana or English Turn. However both will be HIGH dollar and both will not be spur of the moment tee times but you will have to call asap and get one. However as hot as it is should be able to get a tee time as long as you do so quick.

I'd love to play the TPC LA or English Turn but that ain't happinen financially.
Right now I believe its gonna be either, Belle Terre or Pelican Point, both look like nice tracks in our $$$ range. Any thoughts on those?

Head across the I-10 twin spans and play Oak Harbor in Slidell. Best course for the money in the NOLA area.

I've always liked going to Celebration Station over in Metairie. Not alot of walking, but man the course is tough.
