It's been a rough season for me. This is only my second bird.

Turkey number 5 bit the dust at 6:20 this morning. This bird finished my Alabama limit and what a way to go out, 10.5" beard and 1.25" spurs. I guess I'll be guiding other folks the reast of the season. Many thanks to Dr. B for the new call. We met for a drink last night and he gave me this call as a late wedding present. It worked like a charm.

Finally acted right .. appears to be a 2 year old. Good thick beard but only 3/4" spurs

Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?

God has also blessed me with good fortune on the public land neighboring the great state of Mississippi. And for icing on the cake it was a double beard. He gobbled over 600 times in the tree before flying down and strutting into his death at 12 yards. No decoys. No blind. 1 inch R. 1 inch L. 10 inch beard. Only weighed 16.8 lbs??? (i figured he was "rutted" out from gobbling so much)

I recorded a good sound bite of him gobbling with my crackberry if anyone wants to PM me instructions on how to share it.
