Former TX House Representative Charlie Wilson Dies

Charlie Wilson, the former U.S. congressman from Texas whose funding of Afghanistan's resistance to the Soviet Union was chronicled in the movie "Charlie Wilson's War," has died. He was 76.

Another good man who enjoyed good whiskey and georgous women has gone to his grave.

here here.. for charlie wilson. great movie... i don't know how much the movie was hollywooded up but one of my favorite parts is when wilson is meeting with the head of pakastain...

the paksatain asks charlie if he'd like a drink...

The guy was a character,for sure! Gave us lots of stories,no one knows how much of each story was true,most everyone involved was in no shape to remember much.
