It burned down yesterday about 1:30 pm. I took the gate off the hinges before the fire trucks arrived so they would not have to waste time cutting off the chains. It burned pretty fast. From the looks of it, I would say it started on the end facing NW. Fairly certain that is a private lodge and not an outfitter. I have attended a couple of meetings there and it was a fine establishment. Have no idea if they found out the cause of the fire.

Sounds like those old cotton pickers that burn with an acre to go.

If it was Lacropolis, them boys ain't hunted around them parts for the last three years I'm sure. And if it was them I KNOW it wasn't for Insurance.

It is on Stuart Denman's land, on Hwy 32, across from the old "hunters paradise lodge" a/k/a "flyway outfitters lodge." We always called the place "McIntyres" although I don't know if I have spelled that right or not. It is NOT Locopolis Lodge. I was told it was an electrical fire, but I dunno.
