Re: lookin to get a new call..Opinions?
I have a call from fowl attitudes, I really like feel and the sound of this call. I have ordered 2 more from Ryan. I think you should take a look at these calls.

For every 20 XLT's I blow, I find one that sounds right. They are just different than what I'm used to. I prefer single reed Echo Timber's in acrylic.

I am parial to my XLT, I like the volume and the way I can get low and finesse with it. I would go for the Timber though it is a tough call to beat it really gets soft, a lot softer than my XLT. Just my .02, I am fixin to order one from Ryan also I think I hear good things and he is a good guy. He will built it your way.
Damn, i thought I had that one
Is that buddy of yours tryin to blow that call or make love to it?

Its not very loud, it only has a 3/8 bore I think, in most hunting situations it is plenty loud enough, only time it may not be enough is on wide oprn water on a lake.

Echo Timber is a great call, but I would probably use my RNT Original if I had to pick between the two.

Just got an xlt a few weeks back...finished the season out with it. I'd say compared to my RNT's its more of a finishing call...a little more versitile on the lower end, but doesn't reach quite as far on the top. Definitely gonna be in the line-up next season.

What do yall think about either a RNT Alpha 2 or a Foiles Timber Rattler? Any input is much appreciated. Thanks.
