Lost Lab Puppy Found...near Backwater Brake Hunting Club

I was at the McIntyre Scatters boat landing this afternoon and a female black lab that looked to be about 6 months old wandered up. She was wearing a collar with no I.D. and her dew claws have been removed. The closest house would be Backwater Brake Hunting Club which is about 3 miles away. I went by but no one was there. I am placing an ad in the lost and found of the Greenwood Commonwealth tomarrow. I have the puppy at my house in Greenwood. If anyone knows of a missing lab puppy in the Money, MS area, please let me know. She definitely belong to someone and I would like to find the owner.

Don't know but we used to hunt the Scatters; I'll put the word out to the folks I know down there. You talking about the ramp up by the bridge or the new one by those trailers?

By the way, thanks for doing this. As a dog owner, I'd hope someone would go to that much trouble to return one of mine.

She was found at the old boat ramp, a few miles from the Backwater Brake Club . I have notified, Dale Adams, the local game warden.

The owner and puppy have been reunited. The owner is the caretaker for Backwater Brake Hunting Club.
