Another one Down

Well, I had my 8th Colonoscopy yesterday. Everything look good. I love drinking the chalk stuff. Makes me feel good.....NOT!!!

Anyone else had to endure this procedure?

Haven't had to do that, but I have had a lower GI scan twice. Once when I was 6 or 7, and one 5 or 6 years ago when I had my appendix removed. I think Id rather have to drink actual chalk before going through that again!

I have Crohn's so I have to have it every two years. I can smell that stuff and start Gagging. The first couple of times wasn't bad, the last couple of times have been terrible.

I've had 5 or so since 2004. Colonoscopies are where you get to drink the stuff that cleans you out. I've had C-T Scans where you get to drink the chalky stuff 10 or so times in the same time frame.

It was a real quick and short lived weight loss plan for me, I didn't drink the chalky stuff though, they gave me two small bottles of something and said to mix it with a clear liquid like sprite, and to drink it as fast as I could, it was real salty, started working in about 30-minutes, lasted 3-hours on the button, had to do it twice, I had no idea how full of s&^%t that I really was, after the procedure the Dr. (who I think was from Korea) said, during the procedure I was calling him a bunch of inappropriate names (I don't remember any of it) he then said, with a strong accent, your colon-your colon, its fine, more fibba, more fibba-yo colon its fine, next time I'm gonna get a sharpie and write "prepare to go where no man has gone before" on the backend! They found a small polup and removed it though, after loosing my Dad to colon cancer, that procedure is a small price to pay!

Some things I've learned from my previous 2:

1- Go-Lytley is a lie. I shat like a tied coon!
2- I mixed it with Crystal Light for flavor........to this day I hate Lemonade!
3- Get your some Charmin with Aleo Vera in it....your gonna need it.

I've had two prostate exams. Those things suck. I felt very violated both times like I was raped. Unfortunatly I get prostate infections on occasion and have to get them taken care of.

I had one last year for the first time....I knew what to expect cause work in radiology too. They did'nt give me the stuff to drink but instead about 25 pills to take day before the exam. After about the 15th pill they started getting bigger and harder to swallow. But when I got the 20th down and about a gallon of water later. THE BOTTOM FELL OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Let me tell ya I shat like a wounded goose....I could'nt wipe just tap back there!!!!!
