We were doing pretty good before all of this rain. Nobody around us had much water, but now they are spread out. I hope we get some new ducks with this little cold snap.

Some are blaming the recent Full Moon and the night time feeding. May be some truth to that...but I think those bad thunderstorms from mid-week last week drove 'em out. I've seen it happen before.

As I drove back yesterday from the Delta, plenty of freshly flooded fields with 0 ducks on 'em.

had a few before the stroms and full moon with the monsoon but they have seem to push out. The birds that did work on our place this weekend wanted to pitch out into the very middle of the fields on the outer edges of the water line and sit down. We have been trying our best to get the water back right since the heavy rain. But like someone said above, we have most of the flooded fields in out area and now they are alot more with the recent rain, has definately spread them out a bit....
