There is (was) some type of gun club around the Choctaw area, towards King's Point Ferry. They have skeet and maybe trap.

Kearny Park north of Jackson on Hwy 49 south of Yazoo City has sporting clays. I believe you would need an appointment and group to shoot there.

go to hadads hunting store on hwy 61, they'd prob know..

We've got a camp on Fin N'Feather Road...where are you living at? We also just bought some property about a mile from Chotard...looking at building a camp soon...

I have shot sporting clays once, sometime about a few years ago, at what was then known as the Fitler (or maybe the Crown Vantage) corporate lodge near Fitler, MS. I think the land and this lodge has since been sold. But since you live in that area, you might be able to easily get in touch with someone who knows if it is still available. The lodge is visible from MS state Hwy 465, between Hwy 1 and the levee.

I remeber this place being used primarily for their customers. But I think they were willing to pull for group who made a reservation in advance.

Worth a try, it was a cool layout.

i buy my trees from the place in Fitler, it has been turned in to some sort of hunting club. nice place though

Fellas, we all don't know where a professional place to shoot is, so hell I got a good arm and a slinger and would be glad to get some practice if any body has a good open field. That way is a lot cheaper and more realistic too. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
