just because limb failures were mentioned I figured this needed to be posted....it concerns a limb replacement notice on the Bowtech General.... I love my Bowtech, and have no problems recommending them, and the General is one of the sweetest shooting bows I've ever shot...Bowtech is handling this problem as best they can, in my opinion....

here is the link to the notice about the General... http://www.bowtecharchery.com/general_technical_bulletin.pdf

All said about Elite Archery is true. They are good bows and look like a Bowtec. As for Bowtec...I love the 101 and the General however, I heard last week the all Generals have been recalled due to the limbs breaking....Any of you guys heard this???

I own a elite bow and it is the quietest and the fastest bow I have ever shot. I used to shoot a hoyt, and it will not hold a candle to the elite JMO. But like others have said the are many other bows on the market find 1 that you are comfortable with and go for it. Try them all.
