Man it was my first time, but it was a great weekend. Rain was no fun, but it didn't seem to bother the dogs. :) It think there was 28-29 dogs in started, 20-22 in seasoned and 20-22 in finished.
Good times!!!

we had a great time. entires where off a bit, but once we had the rain to deal with we where almost glad. Stopped probably 4x for lighting sat pm, and had an hour lighting delay on sunday morning. Had to cancel the band because of the weather, which sucked, but we've al;ready got a plan to reschedaul them for a seminar/training/party weekend at vires. travis

Very Very nice set ups. Finished land were some of the better test I have seen latley. First time I have run under or for that matter met Steve Vires very fun nice guy/judge. Props to all the Finished judges for a challenging but fair test that they did not have to judge, dogs either did it or they didnt.

rain? what rain? I don't remember any rain!

I thought things went well considering the weather. Grounds were good, especially for a wet weekend. Judges put some sho nuff test together. On the way home Sunday evening I got to thinking and realized why I keep doing this....and as much as I love the dogs....it's the folks that makes for good times.

Any chance the seminar is close to April 18 ? I've got a Field Trial in Hernando that weekend, and will be back up in May for Ole Hatchie.I'd sit through a seminar to go to that party!

Nope... it'll be after the grand. Probably a weekend in may (not old hatchie weekendy either). We're gonna do a test set up/design seminar, split into 2 groups. Design a test, run dogs on it to see if we get what we think we will, and then swap tests and talk about how we'd tear the test apart as a handler. Ragon is gonna bury a pig, and rockers oysterfella is gonna make lake vires rock! Wonder how much a dumptruck of sand is, it'd be cool to make a beach! travis

Travis, after this weekend, I know we will be back. If you really want a truckload of sand. IO can make some calls and see what I can get one for. Not going to make any promises yet, but I may can find us some.

I agree with Henna Sag, June would only give us more of a reason to celebrate.
