Well...what are you doing about it?

with all the posts about gas, fuel, oil, gouging, inflation etc.

what are you doing about it? how are you offsetting/reducing you're gasoline needs? how are you conserving energy? what are you doing to still buy the $5/gal milk? increasing your income? decreasing other expenses?

lets hear it, truth be told for all of us it aint much and it is certainly not enough

For starters I liquidated my assets. Sold the outboard, mud motor and boat and trailer. Only gassin up I gotta do with the canoe is a good nights rest.

parked the '99 F250 diesel, and bought a used Honda Element. Work from home 3 days a week. Fuel consumption is now about 25% of what it used to be.

I got a job closer to home. A $150 in gas a week just to go back and forth to work was putting me in the poor house for sure.

I went and bought a HUMMER.................Its ok I quit drinkin milk

Raised prices at my office, and redueced my cost of goods to put more money in my pocket. So for the time being, I am avoiding the "pinch".

I am also joining fishing anonymous to try and take less 150 mile boat rides.
