Just wondering why you and the Chapmans too; don't put a seat or two tied to the sides... Makes the whole thing stronger.
Wooden one used for years...Most times had to sit on cooler fishing to keep from legs going to sleep. Can you make out the seats?

Broke the wooden one in half in a truck wreck and found this fiberglass one from a guy in La. Had to make a seat.

And yeah, the higher you raise your center of gravity the tippsier (new word) it's gonna be. Kinda a trade off to stay in one; fishing for hours... 8) Just my $.02

If it were me and of course it's not, I would NEVER put a keel on a pirouge. We use them down here and often time we are dragging them across mud, or poling in 2" of water. All a keel does in this case is keep you from turning in the mud easier. If you will look at Louisiana pirouges, none of them have a keel for this reason. The slick bottom is much easier to turn in the mud.

ok my computer is acting retarded and willnot let me post any pics right now. But I decided yesterday to give it a try in the pond. It worked great. I decided to try it out befor I finished sanding and painting incase there were some leaks I could repair them. No leaks. It paddled good. Once my puter stops acting stupid I will get some pics on here. now I am fixing to start painting it.

I cropped and resized them cause they were blowing off my 24in monitor.
But here they are.

Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

That looks great! Are those compartments in the bow and stern? I've got the stuff for mine but have to clean up the honey do list a little before I can start :(

I just covered the ends so that I could shove junk in there if need be. Like an extra coat, a dry bag, etc...

The best I could get right now is that it would float my fat tale in 4 " of water. In about 2" I could push pole through it.
