Now seriously......another thing I wanted to add was this........if you run the setup as singles.....then run it complete with a blind between the middle and right gun station is that considered repeatin' marks?

Personally, Id break it down like troy mentioned on the other thread. I don't know if singles then as a mutiple would actually show the check down concept. Id run one long single, then the middle, long with the middle being the check down bird (memory of the double). And Id be more inclined to have the middle bird help, or recall and resend, than handle. I don't know a dog could learn he overran a bird, by handling back to it.
If I took the time to TEACH this, Id certainly want to either set it up again in a similar place the next day, or soon after. I don't think the dog can get stuff like that without the repetetion of seeing it again, and realizing what it is, even if he did it successfully. travis
