If the "urban sprawl" is on Northside Drive, once it crosses Ridgewood Road, that's when the white flight will really take place. Hell, when I sold my house there two years ago, the only "safe" places in Jackson were bounded by Sheffield Drive, Ridgewood Road and Lakeland Drive.

Glad I sold my house there and got out while the getting was good. Now my parents are moving out. What the hell, at least I still have a place to come back and hunt ducks - the Delta is 10x worse than Jackson will ever be, but at least the natives are more spread out up there.

And the worst part is that now The Cherokee just plain sucks now that they had to move. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings and was appalled at how badly they've gone downhill. Sigh - nothing lasts forever, I guess.

The Cherokee is pretty weak. Even the roast beef I had last thursday was only average. I know it's blasphemy to talk bad about the thursday beef but it was kinda week.

You should see how dark Paraham bridges park is. BTW I found a quail running around the park last week. Right off the jogging path. It had a broken leg. You know things are out of wack when you find quail in teh middle of Jackson. Looked like some escaped tammie Tennesse Red. Definately not a bobwhite.
