Now that "margin of victory" has been taken out of the BCS equation there is no legitimate reason for Tubberville's actions. I have never liked him either. I always felt that if he were much of a coach he would have done more in his time at Ole Miss! I am a firm believer in you get what you give. He will pay for that later in the season when he needs that play or those points and can't get either. Roll Tide!!! I promise we will give em hell near the end of the season!

It was all of those COW BELLS that confused Tubby!!! all that banging made him think he was approaching half time.
Thats why state should have been penalized for that dumb play by tubby.

All I can say was that game was pathetic. I may not have anybody agree with me, but state could have easily won that game if they had a couple of breaks. We should have been up 14-0 but an offensive penalty brought back our defensive touchdown. What luck - my opinion on that play is that the officials should have blown the play dead before the play developed - I didn't even hear a whistle. But, it all turned downhill when the punt took a weird bounce and hit our player (he should have been out of the way though). From then on, every bit of bad luck that could have happened did. Auburn just had the ball bounce their way. Our players just didn't do the little stuff right and we got the wind taken out of our sails in the 4th quarter. I think we have a team that can compete if we can get our act together and stop making the little mistakes.
In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.
