oh wait, not that kind of problem,

sounds like something I had about 2 months ago, strained ligaments in my left jaw, from coughing none-the-less.... Pain when you try to bite down, doesn't feel like your teeth are aligned, sharp pain to bite down to hard or open too wide, feels pressure in your cheeks, sharp pain in inner ear, etc. buddy who's a doc said take 400-800 milligrams of ibuprofen every 4 hours or so and if it got worse call him and he'd give me an anti-inflammatory/muscle relaxer.... took the ibuprofen for about a week and cut out on snuff for a week and it got better, didn't have to go with the muscle relaxer. Try that, if it doesn't work go get you a prescription for some type of MR. All in all, just takes time to heal.
