choke question?
choke question?
I have a Benelli Nova and cant get my choke out. I have tried every tool we have and it is stuck. I was just wondering if the grooves in the choke were the same for every make of shotgun. The choke I have in it right now has 3 grooves, so is that a modified? I just wanted to make sure I dont have my full choke in come this weekend and I go shoot at those little teal, thanks!

WHAT DO YA'LL THINK FELLOWS?, SOUNDS LIKE YOUR TYPICAL SKYBUSTER TO ME
HAVE YOU READ YOUR MANUAL? SURELY IT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT THE CHOKES.SPRAY YOU SOME PB BLASTER OR WD40 AROUND THE CHOKE, SOONER OR LATER IT WILL COME OUT.IF YOU HAVE TO ,ADD YOU A CHEATER PIPE TO YOUR CHOKE WRENCH, I THINK THAT'S HOW I GOT MINE LOOSE ONE TIME

DRY EM OUT BOYS!
No, not a skybuster. The only reason I might have a full choke in there is for turkey hunting, just not sure if I ever used my duck hunting gun for turkey this year. I tried WD 40 and it still wouldnt come out. I think I might have stripped the grooves in the top of the choke trying to get it out. I dont know how it got so tight. But if it is a modified I dont see any point in taking it to a gunsmith because it would be sufficient for the majority of the hunting I do.
