If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

Chopper - what kind of grass? If centipede: apply 2, 4-D and atrazine at labelled rates now for broadleaf control. Apply Poast (or ortho grass killer, same AI) at labelled rates in a few months when it gets hot for control of bermuda, dallis and other non-centipede grasses. If bermuda: apply MSMA and be done with it.

Gator - I done tole you - you've got centipede - and it's in danged sorry shape - and MSMA will smoke it to bare dirt - apply 2, 4-D and atrazine at labelled rates now for broadleaf control. Apply Poast (or ortho grass killer, same AI) at labelled rates in a few months for control of bermuda, dallis and other non-centipede grasses. Pick up 1 qt each (2, 4-D and atrazine) at co-op and I'll come by and spray it this afternoon. But it'll cost you. Dearly. Beoytch.

rjohnson - what kind of grass? See above.

Try mowing, most of the weeds that are growing right now do not like to be mow at lower hights. For everone using MSMA, they are taking it off the market. I belive they have already stop production. They will sale it until they run out.
Right now mix up some Prowl(H2O if you don't want to turn yellow) and spray it. It will work on centipede. Also, I remember hearing somewhere about spraying 2-4-D or MSMA only when the temps. get around a steady 70-80 degrees. Not sure.
Ground temp needs to be above 50 degrees for MSMA...which it is

we are still about a good 3 years before they stop selling in as well
