long season for me!!!!!

better late than never......

21lbs
10 1/2" beard
1 1/4 inch spurs

hunted this bird several weeks.....sunday morning was his last.




also here is one for No Fly Zone (earlier in the year)

This bird was killed on my place. So how nervousdid peyton really get when he came in. I never even got a chance to make it up there to hunt between weddings, bachelor parties and work. the weekends I was off it was pouring rain well glad yall got a good one before the year ended.

thanks brad......it was slower than usual over there this year for us too. the birds seemed to be spread out.....there were a bunch of jakes spotted a few times so maybe they will make it!

bullsprig, that is a great pic and a great bird. Rough season here, something always seem to screw up. I had fun though.

yep, that's the "Jakeman", if you look closely I got a couple of broke fingers on the right hand, so I took him with me that morning(mainly to call) Bird pitched down strutted in and I shot him one handed, put Jake at heel and sent him on a line and he fetched him right up and carried him all the way out for me. He wanted in the pic because he felt like he did most of the work, even though he couldn't really work the box call that well. :D :D
