The conditions in Iraq pre war and post war are way too complicated for W to comprehend. He thought that the Iraqi's would automatically embrace democracy. It drives me nuts when all he can say is that the terrorists hate freedom. It is not that simple and never will be. Invading Iraq will not change what people have believed for thousands of years. This is Bush's war and I guarantee you he will drag it out unitl he is out of office so the next administration will have to deal with it.

Was removing Sadaam a good thing, yes. Was making sure there are not WMDs in Iraq a good thing, yes. But we must now realize that we will never be able to withdraw from Iraq and leave a peaceful nation. It will be either maintain a major presence permanently or withdraw and let them fight amongst themselves.

You Bible scholars help me out here. What does Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac have to do with all of this?
