Do not use a collar to train your dog. The dog should know all the commands you will be giving her before you use the juice. And then it is not to hurt the dog, but, get her attention. When I put the collar on my dog, it was after she knew all the commands. I used the collar basically as a very long check cord. She now knows what the collar is and I don't even have to have the transmitter with me. Just the fact the collar is on is enough for her to be completely different as opposed to when it is off.

Like Kwakhed stated, check Collar Clinic. They sell new and refurbished. You can't tell their refurbished from a new collar.
