Waders lifetime

Postby Woodduckdawg » Wed Jan 03, 2007 1:48 pm

Just wondering how long do you think an average pair of waders will last before getting a new pair.

This is after normal use/abuse, taking care of them after a hunt, and patching a few leaks.

Seems like everytime I get finished hunting as of late my leg/waist area is wet although I don't feel cold water during the hunt. I assume it is a small hole somewhere, or maybe the seam coming loose after so many of you have made that observation as well in other topics.

Get ya a pair of the Canvas Camo waders. Don't have to worry about them getting holes in them as bad as the neoprene ones and they won't cost ya an arm and a leg either..

I go through 2 pairs a year. But I am in them everyday of the season. I quit trying to patch them.

hey woodduckdawg, get you a pair of 3.5mm neoprene camo waders from Delta Net and Twine in Greenville. They only cost $100. They last me about 2 to 3 years and if I tear them up, it's not that big of a loss.
