FOURWHEELER INSURANCE

Postby water » Wed Nov 15, 2006 11:26 pm

I thought that my homeowners insurance covered my fourwheeler if it was stollen or if something happend to it, so I call my agent and he said that it was NOT covered at all. That I needed another policy kinda like it was an automobile. I figured he would say I needed more insurance but I did not think it would be as much as he quoted $258. I was wanting to know some other thoughts. thanks

My homeowners covers 4 wheeler if under carport or in garage. But I have it insured anyways, 128 dollars a year. Get another quote.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Benjamin Franklin.

Those who can do. Those who can't get on MSDUCKS and try to convince everyone they can.

Your quote depends on whether or not it is an ACV or replacement cost policy. That could account for the difference in prices. ACV policies are better than nothing, but not a whole lot better than nothing for the price difference. Ask anyone who went through Katrina.

I never thought about getting insurance on my 4 wheeler. I really don't think I need it. I mean I bought it used so I don't know if it would be worth it. It is a Honda Recon 2001. What do ya'll think?
