Great deer and mount!!! Just curious what made you decide not to do the wood on the back? I have seen a lot of peope doing this now, but I still like having the stained wood backboard on my deer. Does it make the mount or horns stand out more if don't have the wood?

that mount does look really good, I curious about the price too, down around Baton Rouge $350 is the cheapest anyone is doing them.

Mills tax. in Benton did the mount, it was not cheap 360 is what I think the total was, my wife got it out for my bday and she paid the balance. I just decided not to put the plaque on for some reason.

I don't know the reason for it, but I'm seeing more and more mounts everyday without plaques.
