I think we aare missing the point of heaven it is not for our pleasure but god we will be so wrapt up in singing and praising him all day there is no day and no night in heaven no sadness in heaven are happines will be that we are spending time with are savior all the time praising hima nd singing to him all the time.
In the beginning God gave man 'domain' over the animals to keep them. I also believe that in the beginning, Adam and Eve did not eat meat, which means no killing of animals. Only after sin entered into the picture was an animal killed for blood atonement. So will there be animals in heaven, I think so. Will hunt them, I dont believe so, but we will get to enjoy them as it was meant to be in the beginning.
Have you ever wandered why Eve did not run when the serpent spoke to her? Could it be that an animal talking to Adam and Eve was a regular occurrence and it did not strike Eve as odd that the serpent spoke?
Anybody else ever wander that? I have always wandered about that, but not too many other people have. Your thoughts?

Man is the only animal with a choice. Other animals, wild or domestic, live by instinct and environmental influence. For instance, your dog comes to you originally because he gets something from you...food, praise, or comfort. Then he comes to you because he knows you want him to, and obeys based on training. We as Christians have a choice as to what we do in our lives; we can believe or not believe. Animals make no such choice; they decide based on pure survival choices...food, shelter, comfort. That element of choice, free will if you prefer, is the difference between mankind and the other animals.
And the realm of free will is the conscience and "the soul." I do not believe that animals have a soul, but I absolutely believe they trust us absolutely if we give them cause to. It is the level of trust that makes them good dogs, obedienct dogs, mean dogs, or wild dogs. Wild animals distrust man and most other things not like them. They have not developed a comfort level. Some animals, ducks included, can learn to trust man to take care of them or, at least, not to harm them, thus becoming "domesticated."
I don't really think a lower dog can "love." But, I think they can trust us so incredibly that is sure seems as if they do. Truth be known, we can only wish we could have that level of happiness through trust.
As far as dogs going to heaven...
For God to be as good a fella as he is, he's got to be a dog man!

There is a bible verse that the duck commander likes to quote that says something to the effect of 'go, kill and eat'. I believe that animals were put on earth by God for several reasons: 1. Food; 2. Clothing (wool, duck & goose feathers, leather, etc..); 3. Work; 4. Companionship.
Now there are many animals that seem to have no use whatsoever. But I believe that our God is perfect and if he created it then it is important.
I do not believe that God intended for us to create lifestyes around killing wildlife just for the enjoyment of it. God commanded us not to worship any god other than him. When all we live for is to kill the biggest deer or the most ducks or catch the most fish then that becomes our god and that is a sin. When we create tv networks centered around killing wildlife just for the enjoyment of it then that is a sin. When we fence in 1,000 acres to control the population and genetics to create huge mutant deer then that is a sin. In my opinion all of this is worshiping false gods. This is something that I have done a lot of prayer and soul searching about in the past few years. I pray every time that I go hunting that I will have respect for the wildlife that God has created and use it the way he intended it to be used.
