I have planted jap millet at the end of October and it still came up and made a seed head. The amount of daylight versus dark will force the millet to send a head up as a "last chance to reproduce". Now mind you this millet only got about 8" tall at the most with a .5-.75" seed head, but it was still better than bare dirt. That is about your only hope right now. Depending on what kind of ground you are planting, you probably could disk it up, fertilize it, and let the annuals do what only Ma Nature can make them do, produce seeds. Of course you would need a rain to kick things off, but looking at our weather patterns as of late, I'd say you're in luck.
