That's probably when we're going unless I can complete this JOB early! (yeah, right).....and get 'as-builts' done before the 18th (final Progress Meeting).
I'd prefer to leave on the 20th and hunt Southern SK October 23-28 because it was dry there (which usually produces a bumper upland bird crop and ducks over-fly the dry potholes) and hunt upland during the mild temps and clear weather. Then go North and greet the 'giants' in the blizzard.
'Guess we'll have to see what it's like, closer to departure time.......may just skip the Southern location and spend 3 weeks up North.
Makes me a little nervous about 'freeze-up', but the honks oughta hang around a while after that happens and we ought to get some good flights of 'giants' and some of those nice, full-plumaged, 3-pound 'fatheads' that late. We'll see.
International boundry marker on NoDak / SK border (markers every 1/4-1/2 mile or so. 'Other side of marker has "United States" on it.)
