We got a bit of rain yesterday afternoon but prior to that the grain buggies weren't even puting dents in the levies when they were bugging rice over them.

I wrote my last column on how dry it is and included some information from Don Miller and Bill Collector in it! The ducks will be here, but how long they stay where ever is going to depend on surface water!

The entire south needs more rain

Gettin' good rain up in the hills (Pontotoc) this morning. Man, we needed it too. Too late for the row crop farmers but the cattlemen will catch a little break.

Now that we've all complained about low water, watch a low-grade tropical storm push up from the gulf and give everything nine inches of water two days before we hunt. We then get to complain about too much water.
