I had a great hunt! Birds everywhere!! Had two fall right in my pile. Had to stop because I ran out of shells. Between me and my buddy, we got real close to a limit, so there is room to improve.

Did pretty good yesterday had a great time getting out in the COOL AIR 8)
It was in the 60's when we took to the field and had some waterfowl cruise
over in formation and squealing as if announcing fall had arrived. Bird
numbers looked pretty good and plenty big(er) birds were taken with many
yankee doves still not down here :lol:

Here's a couple pics I took of the start of the season.
Hope to see some of everybody's opener.





This little guy was FUSSIN about not having a gun of his own and having
to be the retriever only (which he did well) :D


He just KNEW he could get them if someone would just lend a gun!

Here's to passing along sporting adventures to the kids, and going to that
familiar place. I've missed it.

obviously, someone invited ramsey to the hunt at the last minute, and being the true killer, never miss a hunt type fella he is, he came straight from the golf course to the killing fields :lol: :lol:

ole "dove-mutt" and i didnt even tote a gun we played pick up fer one fellar and a few more :) poncho picked up 36 had a ball watchen dem boys miss couldnt even keep there guns loaded fast enough :lol: :lol: :lol: had about 10 hunters and 86 burds were brought back to da truck in 2 hours! ole mutt had to pose fer pic :D



had to reward our selves later dat night :wink: :wink:
