I will be in Lafayette this weekend w/ my on a business trip. Been since high school since I have been there. Any place special we need to eat or see.

Chuck Paul is going to be there this weekend. Go eat at Randal's one night. The food is out of this world and it has a big dance floor, so you can watch everyone from 2 yrs. old to 100 dance and have a good time. My cousin ran that place for about 15 yrs.

I second Randal's... great steamed shrimp and crab. Neat looking old nursery that was converted into a restuarant. Them old cajuns shore like to dance.....

If you goto Lafonda's for drinks is a big plus. Also, if you stay and eat, order the Don Briggs and get it butterflied.

If you want some night life, hit the places downtown on Jefferson Street.

Randall's is best on Sunday when they have the live french music band playing.

Randall's isn't next to the Downs. E. Downs has now moved to I-49 and Highway 190 (old way to Baton Rouge). Randall's is on Kaliste Saloom towards Ambassador Caffery.
