be sure to get you some stick stoppers for sure. i learned the hard way about those funky plastic guards they come with.
very pleased with the performance other than the boot coming off.
just remember the BIGGER they are the heavier they are.
mine will go anywhere a 600 will.
kev.

03 Rancher 350 ES 4x4 with a Warn winch...only weakeness...you can't shift an hold a beer at the same time...good thing Cabela's sell a drink holder that clamps to my rack
My father-in-law has a Honda Rubicon 4x4 (the 500 Auto), it's been a damn good scooter too...just a bit pricier...the Auto is nice for holding aforementioned beer though....
My father has a Rincon 4x4 with a Warn winch (the 650), it's got a a beer friendly auto tranny too (none of the Honda's are belt drive, and for my money I wouldn't have a belt drive runnin' through rice/bean field and other water all the time)...it's only been through 1 duck season though...but it works great so far and the 4wd selector comes in handy when sport ridin' in the summer....
All are runnin' factory tires, never needed more (although the aftermarket tires certainly look a bit tougher)...
Best value probably the 350, it hauls anything I've every needed it to...the Rincon is certainly the fastest/coolest...and if I were gonna pull implements (for planting food plots etc.) I'd go with the 500...course my money went to the 350

Honda 300, Kawasaki Mule 3010 and Honda Rubicon 500. They don't make the Honda 300 anymore since it lasted too long and did not give them much maintenance business. The Mule is OK but I would buy a Polaris instead.
The 500 Rubicon has the Hondamaticâ„¢ hydraulic transmission (no belts) and can be switched to manual electric shift for towing, or I suppose back up. I have become spoiled with the auto tranny and the name Honda speaks for itself.
