I'll add this, having saved and nursed wild creatures before myself, do some research on your gun. Get the proper choke, load, and pattern. I put a pattern master in my gun last year, this is a basic vented choke. It made all the difference in the world.

I think you can get more bang for your buck by simply buying a premium steel load. I have tried several and Kent fasteel is my favorite. Hevi-shot and bismuth are not in my budget.
