Cat Fishing

Postby jdbuckshot » Mon Jul 04, 2005 11:56 am

Me and my good friend decided we were gonna try some cat fishing, so we spent the better part of saturday mourning rigging up, then headed for the river that evening, had a pritty good catch for the first time. caught nine, 5 channels about 3-4 lbs, and 4 blues about 7-9 lbs. sure did pull good!

he told me he knew exactly what it was as soon as it clamped down....he said he just 'yanked' his foot out and it was bleeding like a stuck hog....his 2 brothers sitting beside him(as he's telling the story) both said at the same time "it went clear to the bone on top and bottom'.....didn't ask to see any battle scars....if I had to guess, I say these 3 brothers were anywhere from 60 to 70 years old........they've seen some stuff
