Please read this post--PRAYERS NEEDED FOR FELLOW DUCK HUNTER

This is heartbreaking. I found this on the Louisiana Sportsman web site today. This man post on there frequently. He and his family need our prayers in the worst way. I can't imagine being in his position as I have an 11 yr old that is my best friend and hunting partner.

prayer requested







well two saturdays ago we had to take my 10yr old son levi to the hospital in hammond because his headaches he had been haveing off and on for a couple of weeks had gotten really bad that morning.

a cat scan showed a large tumor on the right temprol side of his head. we were sent right away to tulane. his brain swelling was getting worse and emergency surgery had to be done.

thank god he came through ok. a couple of days ago we got the report back it was a agrresive form of cancer.

we head back to tulane wed. for a spinal m.r.i. and fri. for a spinal tap.this type of cancer tends to migrate through the spine and this will tell them how far the cancer has spread.

i know that many sportsmen that scan this sight here seem to know the lord. god has been good to us and we dont need anything. but i am writeing this to ask your prayers.

last year levi trusted christ as his savior and he told me last night he knows he is saved and is not scared to die.

i dont know if the lord has seen fit to call him home
but i ask anyone out there that prays to pray for him and us

levi is a great fishermen and loves to duck hunt

The thing that is a blessing is that the young man has already excepted God as his Savior. My prayers are with that family. So sad.

Whatever the outcome may be, since this young man has accepted Christ, the only thing that will die will be the cancer.
