Does anyone still chase ducks?

Postby missed mallards » Mon Dec 11, 2023 8:03 pm

Do y’all still hunt them?

How’s your season going?

I haven’t taken my shotgun out of its case. Thought it funny as my little boy was crawling on the ground and I was cleaning a 22. Times have changed a little. Just don’t have that drive I once did for them
If I don't do it, I ain't gettin nun.......So i'm doing it

My little girl is 10, so my duck chasin' days are limited too.

BTW, I am STILL gonna open up that Colony Crossing WMA if those F%$@&in' geese don't learn to fly instead of stroll across 463. That is simply a given.

I am going to have to soon. My son is at the age, and is shooting on his school's clays team. So I am going to have to put him on some birds.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

I don’t know that I would call what we do chasing them but I still do.

I couldn't stop chasing them if I tried ....... I have come to realize that I am truly Addicted to Quack, ha!

Worst season down here in the South Delta that I can remember in a very long time ....

Weather looking promising for week of January 15th.

Good luck to y'all!

Awful year so far; killed more this past weekend than the rest of this season combined. But, I still get excited to have a group of mallards commit to the spread, so I'll keep chasing them.

Unfortunately, yes. Just about the time I get ready to pack it in for good, I have a couple hunts like this past weekend that keeps me coming back for more. Duck hunting is like that crazy ex-girlfriend you just couldn't shake. Hit a little dry spell and a late night drunk dial, then BAM!
